There are several ways of adding data from a spreadsheet to a regular Notebook page. You may want to add data from spreadsheets in more than one way on the same page so that you can edit as needed, print, and retain the entire data set as an electronic record. Some spreadsheets will print to PDF, but the width limitations of PDF make it difficult to read. A better way to print this case is to check out the spreadsheet for editing, set the print area (File > Set Print Area in Excel), save and check it in before printing the page to PDF. You can also create official printed copies of spreadsheets or selected parts of spreadsheets.
