CERF 6.0 Documentation
Go to CERF 5.3 Documentation

to the left of the CERF application to load this viewer into the left panel. The Saved Search feature allows you to store any saved searches and rerun them at a later date, either inline or in a separate window.
Show Saved Searches: Click on the Search icon on the left side of the application (or use Ctrl-4).
Hide Saved Searches: Click on the “Close View”
button in the upper-right corner of the Saved Searches pane (or use Ctrl-4).
Saved Searches Toolbar
| Button | Action Description | |
| Run Search | Click to Run the Search and display the results in the Middle Panel. | |
| Run Search New Window | Click to Run the Search and display the results in a new dialog window. | |
| New Folder | Click on New Folder to create a new container for your saved searches. You can drag and drop searches from one folder to another within your Saved Searches. | |
| Remove | Select the Saved Search in the Saved Searches pane and click Remove to remove the search. | |
NOTE: You can think of “saved searches” as being like a type of “smart folder” that represents a dynamically updated collection of related resources that interest you. You can use your own tagging and metadata strategies combined with saved searches to “slice and dice” the data in CERF into useful sets or cohorts.
